Privacy Policy
Mikinis is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you browse or buy on the site, how we use it, who we share it with, and how you can exercise your rights. It is written in line with the Israeli Privacy Protection Law, 1981, and Amendment 13, which took effect on 14 August 2025.
1. Who controls your data
The data controller responsible for processing your information is:
- Business: Mikinis
- Business ID: 322999434
- Address: Weizmann 3, Petah Tikva, Israel
- Email: mikiniswimwear@gmail.com
- Phone: 052-700-5221
2. Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly and information collected automatically when you use the site:
- Order and contact details, name, email, phone, shipping address, and the account details you create.
- Payment details, processed securely by our payment provider. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
- Technical and online identifiers, IP address, device and browser identifiers, general location, pages viewed, and usage data, collected via cookies and analytics tools. Under Amendment 13 these identifiers are treated as personal data.
3. How we use your information
- To process orders, take payment, ship items, and provide customer service.
- To manage your account and give you access to your order history.
- To send order updates and, with your consent, marketing emails you can unsubscribe from at any time.
- To improve the site, analyse performance, and prevent fraud.
We do not make solely automated decisions (without human involvement) that produce legal or similarly significant effects on you.
4. Sharing with third parties
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers needed to run the store, and only as required: hosting and database, payment and invoicing, the shipping carrier, our email provider, and analytics tools. These providers are bound by data-processing agreements to protect your data and use it solely to provide the service. We may also disclose information where required by law.
5. Transfers outside Israel
Some of our service providers (hosting, database, and email delivery) store data on servers outside Israel, including in the United States and the European Union. Such transfers rely on one of the following: countries with an adequate level of protection (such as the EU), appropriate contractual safeguards in the data-processing agreements, or necessity for providing the service and performing our contract with you, in line with the cross-border transfer regulations.
6. Cookies
The site uses essential cookies to operate the cart and account, and, subject to your consent, analytics and marketing cookies that help us understand how the site is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though blocking essential cookies may impair how the site works.
7. How long we keep your data
We keep personal data only as long as it is needed for the purposes it was collected for: order and invoice records are kept for the period required by tax and accounting law; account details are kept while the account is active and until it is deleted; and marketing details are kept until you unsubscribe. At the end of the period the data is deleted or anonymised.
8. Data security
We take accepted measures to protect your data, including encrypted transport (HTTPS), access control with restricted permissions, and backups. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Minors
The site is intended for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors under 18 without the consent of a parent or guardian. If we learn that we collected data from a minor without such consent, we will act to delete it. A parent who believes their child provided us with information is welcome to contact us.
10. Your rights
Under the Privacy Protection Law and Amendment 13 you may: access your personal data; request its correction if it is wrong, incomplete, or out of date; request its deletion; and remove yourself from marketing lists. You can withdraw marketing consent at any time, as easily as it was given, via the unsubscribe link in any email or through your account. We will respond within 30 days; if we do not respond in time, you may apply to a Magistrate’s Court. We may verify your identity before handling a request. If you have an account, you can update your details, download a copy of your data, manage marketing preferences, and delete your account directly from your account settings. For other requests, email us atmikiniswimwear@gmail.com.
11. Data breaches
In the event of a serious, reportable security incident, we will notify the Privacy Protection Authority within 72 hours of discovering it, and notify affected users without undue delay where there is a high risk to their rights, in line with Amendment 13.

We may update this policy from time to time; the last-updated date appears at the top of the page. For questions about privacy and your personal data, email mikiniswimwear@gmail.com, call 052-700-5221, or use the contact page.
